Hearing loss is a communication disorder affecting everyone in the communication situation-- the person speaking as well as the person with hearing loss who is trying to listen. For that reason, the Living With Hearing Loss Program is designed to meet the needs of family members, friends, coworkers, and service providers as well as the person with hearing loss.
