The Jazz Club of Sarasota's Joy of Jazz concert series kicks off with Ron Kraemer & the Hurricanes, Saturday, November 17, 2 to 4 p.m., in Centennial Park in downtown Venice. The concert is free but donations are accepted in support of the Jazz Club’s scholarship fund. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets. Food and beverages will be available; coolers not allowed. For more information, call 941-366-1552. The series is sponsored, in part, by the Gulf Coast Community Foundation.
