This movie follows Samir and a pair of FBI agents through their struggle with terrorists. While it makes almost no sense that the FBI would be tracking international terrorists, the movie makes an attempt to explain their involvement. Samir is the focus of the movie and the audience gets a first-hand look at the inner turmoil he goes through as he must be a terrorist to stop terrorists. The movie is very intense and probably the best movie currently on the market. The one thing to ignore if you are going to truly enjoy this movie is the point they make that Christians and Muslims are equally guilty of terrorism and we could eliminate the problem just by opening a dialogue with the terrorists to show them the error of their way. I appreciate the point that the hero is a VERY devout Muslim and is fighting terrorism because it is his role as a Muslim (an excellent element of the movie's plot that enhanced the enjoyment of the movie), but the numerous times the movie shows that terrorists are just dedicated to their cause and no worse than anyone else (point made by the FBI agents on several occasions and hammered home by Samir's "handler") were very disappointing. I highly recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys action/drama/suspense movies (although it is more of a drama/suspense movie than an action movie.
