Stopped in to check the old Obrien's out, it had been a while since I drank a whiskey there. I was indeed shocked to find that the place was gone, and in it's place was a completely new bar. Gone are the smoky dingy cramped interiors of Obriens with grandmotherly bartenders. In it's place is a completly gutted and remodeled bar and restaurant. A ton of TV's and shockingly good food, along with a mixed neighborhood crowd of 20 somethings to 50 somethings. A shame to see Obriens gone, but anywhere that has craft beer on tap wins me over immediately.
