Jacksons Bistro gets a bad rap (pun intended) due to the party-central Jackson's night club, which, on any given evening could involve a combined and easy hundred thousand dollars of silicone and Botox and/or drug and alcohol induced fights with the obligatory off duty police looking the other way just outside the front door. Watch your drinks there in the evening, ladies.This strange business model confuses many, and the cafe remains extremely popular among business professionals looking for casual lunch during daytime and also remains popular for those same business pros late at night when they re-emerge dressed in nylon bejeweled skin hugging or Ed Hardy attire, while techno dancing into the wee hours of the morning. Who would have thought this could all be possible on little old Harbor Island. But yeah, the food is not bad at all.
