Gasparilla International Film Festival

The annual festival kicks off February 26 at the Tampa Theatre with an Opening Night VIP reception and film screening features "Nothing But the Truth" starring Kate Beckinsale; among festival line-up include "Misconceptions" featuring A.J. Cook, "What Doesn't Kill You" featuring Ethan Hawke and "Steam Experiment" starring Val Kilmer. A Closing Night Party takes place at the Tampa Firefighters Museum March 7 from 8 to 11 p.m. and tickets are $40; includes open bar.
