Rock 'n Wings Concert

Idol's Amanda Overmyer, the Harley riding, Janis Joplin-sounding contestant from the 2008 season of American Idol will appear at the "July Fourth Rock 'n Wings Concert" to be held at the Albert Whitted Airport (1st Street and 5th Avenue South) in downtown St. Petersburg. The event starts at 4 p.m. with two top regional bands opening for Amanda and ends with one of the best views of St. Petersburg's fireworks celebration. Gates close at 4 p.m. Free on sight motorcycle parking. Admission is $10. Tickets can be purchased online at www.rocknwingsconcert.com or at local businesses to be announced.
