Yoga Workshop - Attention and Intention in Asana (Lower Body Hinges) with Linda Di Carlo
Hips, knees, ankles and toes create a vast array of movement if they are maintained with targeted asanas. More freedom of movement in the lower body is available when all the hinges are equally open. The earthiness of the lower body can feel heavy as mud, or dry and brittle as a dehydrated river bed. With regular practice of targeted poses we can germinate the seeds of a rich and beneficial practice to support mobility, balance and locomotion that we expect from the lower limbs.
