The Perlman Music Program Sarasota Winter Residency offers training for students who come from around the world to study and play violin, viola, cello, and bass with esteemed mentors, including Itzhak Perlman. Free events include orchestra and chorus rehearsals, master classes, and student recitals. Today's events include orchestra rehearsal at 3:30 p.m. especially designed for children; chorus rehearsal at 5 p.m.; and a student recital at 7 p.m.
