Enticed by a beautiful brochure, seven British pensioners decide to spend their golden years in less expensive Jaipur, India at The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. Upon arrival they find the hotel much less luxurious than portrayed. Feeling swindled out of their savings, the seven nevertheless muster the courage to sever ties with the past and immerse themselves in their new lives.
