DO NOT HAVE YOUR WEDDING RECEPTION AT EAST LAKE WOODLANDS COUNTRY CLUB IN OLDSMAR, FL.

My husband and I did and it was a disaster! Shortly after arriving, the power went out. We had no a/c, no music and no lights. The staff could have cared less. They didn't clear the tables or offer anyone ice water. We cut the cake but it was only served to a few people! The bathrooms were dark so people had to take candles with them.

We hired a D.J. but they couldn't play any music. We had a wonderful photographer but he missed out on hundred of pics because of the dark. We also paid for a DVD and a 'Love Story' video, which no one saw because there was no power.

East Lake called their maintenance man but he refused to come out. They also called Progress Energy and waited on the phone for 1/2 hour, only to find they had TECO. I contacted TECO and they never received a call from them.

We are in the middle of an expensive law suit but East Lake is offering nothing.
