Unlike Karaoke the Gong Show gives the audience a chance to move someone off of stage in shame. There is a price for that gong, if you want to gong it will cost you a drink. Instead of filling their mouths with words they will fill it with a drink.
Come on down and enjoy the fun. Bring your guitar, singing voice, comedy act, or whatever you got. If you stink they will buy you a drink.
